Application for Boards & Commissions

Rollingwood needs citizens to serve the City on boards and commissions! These positions are a vital way for the City Council to get input about managing our city. They also make important recommendations to the Council that impact many aspects of life in Rollingwood.

Please consider serving. If you are interested, please take your completed application to City Hall.

The application is online at http://docs.myrollingwood.com/BCAPPLICATION.pdf

Mira Vista Opening: B. Chic

Name: Karen Thomas

Subject: My daughter and I went into one of the new stores in Mira Vista today called B. Chic.  They have very beautiful things including authentic designer handbags and jeans and are very excited to be in RW.  I met the owner and her husband and I told them I would pass along an invitation to their grand opening on Sat., 12/16 from 5-8.  They will have champagne and chocolate and a raffle for $100 gift certificate.  Go check them out and support our local businesses.

Our City Administrator, Don Ferguson, has resigned

Don is leaving effective Jan 26th to take up a position in Wimberley. If you see him please thank him for his service to the City.

City Council Meeting 12/20

There is a City Council Meeting schedule for 12/20.  I’ll link to the agenda shortly.

Some emails indicate that there may be discussion about changes to the Endeavor commercial development track (north side of Bee Cave near MoPac).  I know that many citizens are following the progress of this project.
