This is not an advice column,

but this site is one: read about how to be a good neighbor.  There’s always something interesting on the Internet.

Neither sleet nor rain nor cold nor wind could stop the Rollingwood Easter Egg Hunt!

The Rollingwood Neighborhood Association would like to give a wholehearted thanks to everyone who helped make this fun event such a great success!   Flagship Randall’s and Seattle’s Best Coffee donated (or tried to donate)  our refreshments and a small army of volunteers were willing to brave the cold windy rain to set up Saturday morning, and then again on Easter Afternoon.   I’d like to give special thanks to our new neighbor Lisa Serface and her family for chairing the event with me and taking it over next year!   I’d also like to give huge thanks to Dale Dingley,  Liz Krakow, Ken Krakow, Troye Campbell, Lisa Kirkpatrick, Jaye Lynn Russell, Kelton Spillar, Bea and Philip Howe, John Carleton, John and Sharon Williams, and everyone else who had a hand in the Easter Egg Hunt.  Your time and enthusiasm are much appreciated by all of us!

Participation in our community events is not only really fun, it is the lifeblood of the community spirit that makes Rollingwood such a unique and wonderful place to live.  We are so fortunate to call Rollingwood home, and I invite everyone to jump in and help with whatever event strikes your fancy, whether it’s July 4, a Corner Social (coming up Sunday, April 29), the Rockin’ Rollingwood 5K, OctoBerQue…have fun, meet your neighbors, build your community all at once, what could be better?
