Save energy w/ the Austin Chronicle & Austin Energy
April 27, 2007 by president.
From Jerald Corder: http://www.austinchronicle.com/gyrobase/Market/Watt
The Austin Chronicle is working with Austin Energy on a program to get folks to save energy this summer. There will be contests for individuals, businesses and neighborhoods to see who can do the most to cut down their electric bills over the months of June, July, August and September. When I have some more info I will send it along and maybe we can get Rollingwood to participate. The Chronicle will publish a big “Green” issue on May 25 is kick off the contest, in the meantime you can check it out here.

$677,682.69 settlement for Rollingwood!
April 27, 2007 by president.
Here is a link to the Statesman’s coverage of the Armbrust & Brown settlement.
“Armbrust and Brown negotiated the contract between Rollingwood and the LCRA. At issue was whether the firm informed city leaders that it was working for both entities during the negotiation. Also at issue is whether the contract adequately protected the city.”
