City Council double header: Budget 9/18 and Business 9/19
September 17, 2007 by president.
The City Council has scheduled two meetings this week. Review the online materials for complete details!
- Tuesday 9/18 Budget review for public comment. The budget includes:
- $2.9 Million Operating Budget (4% reduction from last year)
- $.1159 per $100 property tax (was $.12 last year)
- 10% increase in property tax revenue
- Wednesday 9/19 Regular Session. The agenda includes:
- Utility Commission rate analysis
- P&Z on zoning changes and sprinkler systems
- RCDC budget and amendments to bylaws
- Discuss appointments for Park Commission & RCDC Board
- Discuss nomination for Travis County Appraisal Board
- City administrative reports
- Executive (closed) session
I bet these meetings will go into extra innings - bring a cushion for your seat!
As usual, these meetings will start at 7 PM in City Hall.
