Recycling Round-up: Halloween Candy!
October 27, 2008 by president.
We are all about to have more of it than we can hide on top of our refrigerator. So here’s the deal: Don’t throw it out! Kelli Carlton will collect all of it that you don’t want, shouldn’t eat and/or promised you’d never touch again and deliver it to Mobile Loaves & Fishes, an organization that uses the candy all year long in its meals for the homeless. Leave it on her front porch at any time following the Big Boo. Kelli is at 4903 Southcrest Dr.
Now should you choose to eat it, follow her sage advice – always eat it in even numbers. That way it’ll distribute itself evenly between your hips. Same applies to Girl Scout cookies – FYI.
