Austin based non-profits The Miracle Foundation and A Glimmer of Hope.  Also appearing: Nobel Peace laureate Muhammad Yunus, Nobel Physicist Steven Chu, (Secretary of Energy), Dr. Helene Gayle (CEO of CARE), and American legend Willie Nelson.

The film is produced by The Nobelity Project, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization working for a more peaceful and sustainable world.

The Rollingwood Neighborhood Association and Women’s Club think this movie is so important and wonderful that everyone should be able to see it, so together we are underwriting the costs of bringing it to the people of Rollingwood. Please join us for this exclusive Rollingwood community screening to benefit The Nobelity Project and the

Rollingwood

Park.  Suggested donation $10 per person or $20 per family.

July 4th Thanks!

Wow, what a wonderful July 4 parade and celebration we had in Rollingwood.  Many thanks to all the volunteers who organize and work this amazing community event, especially our chair Liz Krakow.  Also thanks go to food chair Troye Campbell, kid activities chair, Amy Ellis, flag sales chair, Karen Thomas, parade marshal, Bill Hamilton, ice cream chair Lauren Reynolds, and tee shirt chairs Lisa Kirkpatrick and Marilyn Kounnas.  Tiffany Marascio and Vanessa, BIG thanks for helping with the decorations!!  This is one of the most fun community events we have, and it is because of you! One of the highlights and major fundraisers of our celebration each year is our huge raffle, so I’d like to extend a huge THANK YOU to the local businesses that donated items and gift certificates (see Liz Krakow’s letter).   In addition, I’d like to encourage all Westbank residents to patronize these businesses; they go out of their way to support our community in so many ways, we should make a point to support them! Finally, Bistro 88 made a generous donation to our raffle, and they were inadvertently left off our mailing, so I would like to take this letter to give them one extra THANK YOU.  Laura HirschfeldPresident, Rollingwood Women’s Club
